On the occasion of World Physiotherapy Day, IAMR invited eminent Guests. It was our pleasure to have all the esteemed guests under one roof. Our honorable guests of the day were- Dr. Anand Misra (Treasurer IAP, Principal, Dept. of Physiotherapy, Institute of Medical Sciences, Indore & Dr. Prabhat Ranjan (IAP Executive Member, Department of Neurosciences, AIIMS). All the esteemed guests shared their experiences and motivated students towards the profession. All the honorable guests were felicitated by Shri R.K. Gupta , Chairman of IAMR Group ,Sanjay Bansal, Secretary Head of IAMR Group & Smt. Anshu Bansal Joint Secretary IAMR Group. Programme was followed by cultural events & Working Model competition by students. Event was very fruitful for students as they got a chance to meet all the eminent Medical Professionals together.
A prosperous and happy International Women’s Day to all. IAMR institute salute all the women for their precious contribution in order to maintain this nature. A woman plays many roles in her life span i.e. a girl child, a daughter, a wife, a mother. IAMR Institute gives regard to all of them. Students of IAMR Physiotherapy paint the simplicity and the natural beauty of the woman with the theme slogan “PLEDGE FOR PARITY”
BPT 2 yr Students enjoyed a one day picnic to Worlds of Wonder on 1 March 2016. About 40 students participated in this trip. Students had lots of fun on riding different swings after that they had delicious lunch followed by boating & rain dance.
Institute of applied medicine and research indulge in a rebate to render awareness in the society for the cancer among the people. Nationally, a day is also concurred for cancer. It is celebrated as “ WORLD CANCER DAY” every year on 4th February. IAMR took intiative to organaise a rally with posters and other symbolic material to grab the attention of the local people and make them interested to listen to the urge of the students. Great voice of students and their teachers rises the hope more higher of preventing the lot cases of cancer.
WE went in the Under 14 Glacier Football league 2016 as a sports physio under the expert supervision of IAMR alumni Dr. Vishal Anand sir. We learnt vatios important things including the on field injuries and their management, Players’s relaxation techniques and Taping. Our special thanks to our HOD Dr. Shagun Aggarwal Sir to giving us such an precious platform and usefull exposure to all of us.
On the occasion of LOHRI January 13 2016 IAMR College Duhai organized a colorful and to be remembered event was inaugurated by the Secretary Sir Shri. SANJAY BANSAL and Joint Secretary MRS.ANSHU BANSAL lit the holy fire and everyone moved around and took blessings by giving popcorn and peanuts in the holy fire and then distributed amongst themselves. Student’s performance on DHOL doing GIDDA and BHANGRA became the centre of attraction to one and all. The aim of celebrating this festival was to teach and remind the auspiciousness and spirituality of our traditions and culture to the students of the new generation and their interaction with their elders. The enthusiastic participation of students and their interest in spiritual activities increase the attraction of the event. In the end the faculty members and students distributed popcorn and some other belongings to the needy children with this everyone wished each other with blessings and prosperity for their future.
Four gold medals were awarded for IAMR students in different courses. Rajat Sahu (Bachelor’s of physiotherapy) & Garima Bansal (Master’s of Physiotherapy) received a Gold Medal as a token of appreciation for his marvelous academic performance, in university convocation on, 5th Jan 2016
I.A.M.R. organised a painting competition on 2nd December 2015 held At Bhagirath Seva Sansthan, Morta in Ghaziabad for disabled children. Children with disabilities actively participated in this competition. They made beautiful pictures with their abilities with great zeal.The secretary head of IAMR Institute Mrs. Anshu Bansal distributed prizes to winners, chocolates, crayons, books and stationary items to them. All the faculty members and students shared their valuable thoughts to improve their lifestyle. It was a great next step towards mankind.
The Time To Act Is Now -Getting To Zero; End Aids By 2030. IAMR Institution organized AIDS prevention awareness on 1st DEC 2015 event in a hope to make people aware of and improve education about the transmission of HIV. Faculties gave a brief explanation about the prevention of the AIDS among the students and encourage all the students to spread awareness in their surroundings. In this event students did the group discussion regarding AIDS preventions among themselves and wear a red ribbon indicates the preventive sign of AIDS, and is one simple way to do this. All the students were very committed to spreading awareness about the AIDS prevention and every year demonstrate on overwhelming amount of interest in learning more.
Sports Meet was organized on 23th -24th October 2015. Great no. of students participated in various In-doors & Out-door sports- Carrom, Chess, Table-Tennis, Kho-Kho, 100 mt., 200mt. 400mt. race. There was equal participation from both boys & girls. Winners were awarded with trophies, medals & certificates. Students enjoyed a lot & participated in full enthusiasm.
Pediatric rehabilitation camp was organized on 6th Nov 2015. All faculty members & students assessed the children having autism, cerebral palsy, muscular dystrophies etc. And the treatment was given with various latest neuropediatric rehabilitation techniques like Rood’s approach, motor relearning programme, pegboard exercises, group therapy, and play therapy.
Diwali Mela was held on 6th of Nov; 2015. Students participated and organized various food stalls, games stalls, handicrafts, handmade chocolates, cookies, embroidery work. Students enjoyed a lot and were also filled with great zeal and enthusiasm. The whole Mela was full of fun and joy. The students themselves prepared various delicious food items. Also, there was a Rangoli competition arranged for students in which a great no. of participation was seen.
In order to welcome fresh budding physiotherapists, BPT 2nd, 3rd and 4th year students organized Fresher's Party- Phoenix- BPTians on 29th Oct 2015. All 2nd yr were the comparers for the event. This party was preceded by the honorable guest enlightened the students with their golden words of wisdom that will serve as a guiding light for students during their entire course at IAMR. It was highly appreciated both by students and faculty members with innovative events like dance and singing performances. This gave freshers an immense opportunity to display their talent with Sahil and Rubeena coming up as Mr. and Miss Fresher , Amir Khan & Priya secured the title of Mr. & Miss Cute Face while Anjali & Arjun bagging the title of Mr. & Miss Personality.
Theme of this year’s World Mental Health Day is ‘Dignity in Mental Health’’.Shri Sanjay Bansal, Secretary Head of IAMR discussed about the Human rights oriented policy & law, Smt. Anshu Bansal Joint Secretary Head of IAMR discussed what can be done to ensure that people with mental health conditions can continue to live with dignity Dr. Shagun Agarwal discussed about WHO policies, public information campaigns & role of health professionals in Mental Health. Other faculty member & students have shared their views on Mental Health.
On 25th Sept. 2015, Physiotherapy dept of IAMR Group of Institutions organized a one day workshop on - MPR- Myofunctional Postural Rehabilitation and the speaker was Mr. Silverio Di Rocca , MPR International School, Switzerland. The objective of the M.P.R. Workshop is to illustrate the appliances used in the method: B.E.D. (Body Equilibrium Device)& Magnet Therapy The M.P.R. (Myofunctional Postural Rehabilitation) is an interdisciplinary holistic focus for the treatment of neuromuscular skeletal disfunction for patients of all ages. It is based on the sensory deprogramming and reprogramming of the tonic postural system’s receptors.

World Earth Day is celebrated on 22nd April 2015. Students planted trees & picked up roadside trash, & discuss various programs of recycling & conservation.
In order to bid farewell to BPT FINAL YEAR, students of BPT 3 yr organized farewell party. The crown of Miss Farewell was rewarded to Miss TARINI MATHUR while the title of Mr Farewell was given to Mr. HIMANSHU SHARMA. Students shared their college life experiences.
Students have shared their views & discuss the causes & latest therapies of Autism. Dr. Shagun Agarwal & other faculty members discuss the advanced treatment of AUTISM.
On 26th Jan we start up with flag- hoisting ceremony and cultural events by listening to patriotic songs.
On the occasion of Basant- Panchmee we organize a Saraswati Pooja for students.

On the occasion of Deepawali we organize a Mela , in which students are participate in various activities like fun- games, Rangoli competition & dance competition.
This event was a wonderful experience for the students as they gain on field experience on shin splint, muscle sprain & various sports related injuries
IAMR publish An International Journal biyearly in a month of September-October or in a month of February -March.
